Learn to Meditate
Welcome to Learning How to Meditate! Congratulations for following your intuitive prompts to get to this stage, you are already on your way!
I first began meditating when I was home with my young children. It quickly became a craving for me to sit in my own stillness, a welcome reprieve from the noise and energy of raising four beautiful but busy children.
I discovered that once I learned to communicate with my body, and cue it into stillness, meditation became very easy. Regardless of the noise or distractions, my body knew what to do. In fact, once of my favorite memories is experiencing my two toddlers attempting to climb into my lap while I was meditating, shushing each other to not disturb Mommy while she was meditating. Can you picture that?
As I grew in my practice, I began to realize the greater impacts of meditation in my world. I was yelling at my kids less, I was feeling less rushed and anxious, but most valuable of all, I began to tune into my natural intuitiveness, which I’ve learned helps everything flow better.
Your body already knows how to meditate, it just needs to be prompted.
Like any kind of wellness choice (eating healthy or exercising regularly), meditation requires a commitment, and a practice. In the same vibe though, it also becomes easier once you see some results.
Through the introduction of various techniques, guided visuals and small group Q and A, you will be introduced to a deeper level of relaxation and consciousness. Come experience first-hand what your stillness feels like, and learn how to access it on your own, whenever you want or need it.
